Contacting the Police:
The Police Department switched their dispatching function from "in-house" to the Regional Emergency Dispatch (RED) Center in the early 1990's. This move helped Canal Fulton save many dollars. As a matter of fact, the City saves approximately $100,000 every year using this new service. However, the move has created confusion on how to contact your Police Department.
