Utility Department Notice: April 24, 2007 Automatic Payment Available
You can make your water/sewer bill paying a breeze by joining the City of Canal Fulton’s automatic payment plan. You can have your payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account each month.
You may pick up the registration form at the Utility Billing Office, 155 E. Market Street, Suite B, Canal Fulton, OH 44614.
Meter Readings
The City reads water meters on a quarterly basis. They are read the first two weeks of the month in March, June, September and December. If the meter reader is unable to read your meter, a postage-paid meter read card is put on your door. It is very important that you take a moment to read your meter and record on the card and drop it in the mailbox. The card is also for your protection, due to the fact that you may have a leak of which you are unaware.
In the months that actual reads are not done, the bills are estimated. If you would like an actual read every month, you may call in your readings or put the reading on your portion of the bill that is mailed in with your payment. The meter readings would need to be called or mailed into the billing office before the 20th of each month.
Payments
Water/sewer bills are due on the 20th of each month. For your convenience you may make your payment utilizing the automatic payment plan, in person, mail, Unizan Bank, Applecreek Bank or in the drop box located on the front door of City Hall. We also accept Visa and Mastercard. |
